
Johannesburg Metro police spokesperson Wayne Minnaar said the rainwater that was flooding the M1 south from the Buccleuch Interchange has been cleared.
This is after the gridlock traffic which was due to temporary flooding in the left lane in Houghton on 22 October.
Minnaar said, “The water has been drained and all is clear. Motorists can get back on the highway.”
