Radebe acting as State President
MINISTER of Justice and Constitutional Development Jeffrey Thamsanqa Radebe is the acting State President until 7 September.
Incumbent Jacob Zuma is attending the G20 forum in St Petersburg in Russia and Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe out of the country on vacation.
In terms of Section 90 of the Constitution, Zuma has designated Radebe to act as President of the Republic during that time.
