Premier appoints Kolisile’s successor
GAUTENG - Gauteng has a new Economic Development MEC.

Mxolisi Eric Xayiya was appointed and subsequently sworn in on Tuesday morning during a special briefing convened by Premier Nomvula Mokonyane.
Xayiya replaces Nkosiphendule Kolisile, who died in a car accident a few weeks ago. The new MEC has been a Member of the Provincial Legislature since 2009.
