Appeal for victims to identify stolen property

SANDTON - The Sandton police have in their possession stolen property that was recently recovered and they're trying to find the property's owners.

Sandton police spokesperson Captain Kym Cloete said, “Our detectives received information regarding this property, that it had been stolen in a house robbery in Sandton.” She said the goods had been confiscated in Lyndhurst.

The property consists of a sound system with speakers and a Samsung flat-screen television.

Anyone coming to claim the goods can visit the Sandton police station between 8am and 3pm. They will need to supply some proof of ownership such as a receipt and their case number.
