KGOSI MOTSHIDSI: We made breakfast for my mother and then we went to an orphanage because my mom is adopting a child and wanted to spend time with her too.
TSHIDAHO NETSHIABHA: I spent the day at church with my family. I think it’s an important day but we should also be aware of the commercialisation of the day.
BOITUMELO THOKWANA: I have small babies so I don’t really celebrate Mother’s Day, but I like to do a lot for my mother and aunt because they help me take care of my kids.
NIKAYLA NAIDU: We are big on family so all our family came from around the country. Moms do so much and it’s only when you don’t have them do you realise what you’re missing.
