JOBURG - Soccer legend Neil Tovey, is said to be critical but recovering in hospital. Tovey suffered a heart attack a couple of years ago. He is the current technical director of the national soccer team, Bafana Bafana.
Godfrey Molongwana: I wish him a speedy recovery as the nation still needs his wise counsel on soccer development from the grassroots level.
Gift Peter: I wish his family well as they nurse their father and a national icon of the sport of soccer. They must not lose hope and the nation should join them in daily prayers for him to get well.
Sinah Mogashoa: Mokoko, Tovey’s nickname, is an important national figure. I sympathise with his family and encourage the nation and all soccer lovers to join the family in prayers for his recovery.

Fontini Walters: Like other ailments, heart attacks are beyond our control and surviving them, especially twice, is a blessing to Neil Tovey. I urge citizens to watch their diets and to lead clean lives to minimise chances of contracting ailments.
