To my future parents: “My name is Liya and I know your arrival is coming soon. I can feel it in my paws. I can’t wait to purr all over you as you take me to my forever home. The car ride might be a bit interesting though.”

To my future parents: “My name is Patch and I’m getting impatient. I’ve been waiting for you to come fetch me. So do it now. I’ll be waiting with tongue out and tail wagging.”

To my future parents: “My name is Melissa and I can’t wait to fill your hearts with love and the walls of your home with pictures of me. A cat has nine lives and I can’t wait to live all of mine with you.”

To my future parents: “My name is Tilly and I can’t wait for us to lock eyes and flow into one another’s hearts. I like furry blankets, swims in the pool, lots of licks on the face and lamb-flavoured food.”

To my future parents: “My name is Ross and I know you will come to fetch me soon. I pray every night for the day you come and take me home.”
