Man beaten by housemate in Marlboro Gardens

MARLBORO GARDENS - A 49-year-old man was beaten by his housemate in Marlboro Gardens.

This according to Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for the Bramley police, who said the alleged victim opened a case of common assault at the police station.

Maphakela said the victim was allegedly attacked by his housemate at his place of residence.

“The alleged accused pushed the victim against the doorframe and he fell down onto the ground,” explained Maphakela.

“The victim was kicked twice on his back and on his left leg after he was punched in his stomach.”

Maphakela said the accused then left the house and left the victim injured on the floor.

No arrests have been made.
