Ward 32 to hold by-election

JOBURG - The Ward 32 by-election is set to take place and residents are encouraged to vote for their preferred candidate.

The election will take place on 13 August, with three candidates contesting the elections. The candidates represent three political parties, namely the African National Congress, Democratic Alliance and Inkatha Freedom Party.

The voting stations will be open between 7am and 9pm and residents are reminded to bring their ID documents along when they go to vote. Residents can also find out if they are registered by SMSing their ID number to 32810.

The following voting stations will be open on 13 August:

  •  Buccleuch: Buccleuch Primary School
  •  Linbro Park: Kings School North Eastern Surburbs/Duduza College
  •  Tsutsumane Extension 7: Tent (New Shops)
  •  Modderfontein: Modderfontein Sports Club
  •  Klipfontein View: Klipfontein View Multi-purpose Centre
  •  Greenstone Hill: Tent (Greenstone Hill)
