More celebrities support Slipper Day
SANDTON - The Reach for a Dream Foundation celebrated Slipper Day on 1 August in Sandton.
The campaign that called on all South Africans to reach for their slippers, and to wear them to work or school to help a child fighting life-threatening illness was a big success.
Various South African celebrities showed their support for the fundraising initiative.
On 31 of August, 12 celebrities put on their slippers and joined in the fun of Slipper Day. Dineo Moeketsi, Dj Zan D, Janine Davies, Pu2ma, SK, Charlton Forbez, Ms Cosmo, Zola 7, Thulani Blake, Simphiwe Majola, Phinda Matlala and Tamerin Jardin all gathered for lunch at Wimpy Sandton City to show their support and to urge South African’s to do the same for the Reach for Your Slippers campaign.
