Grayston Drive becomes crime hotspot

SANDTON - A 24-year-old woman was almost robbed on Grayston Drive in Sandton.

This following articles, Shots fired at couple on Grayston Drive and Two motorists shot at on Grayston Drive, Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for the Bramley police said the woman was travelling on the M1 North and took the Grayston Drive off-ramp.

“She was driving a white Audi A1 and waiting for the traffic light to turn green,” explained Maphakela.

He said the woman was approached by a man who was wearing dark clothing.

“The suspect smashed the passenger window of the car and ran away, but nothing was taken,” explained Maphakela. He added that the cost of the damaged window was R2 000.

No arrest has been made.
