Newton’s 2nd Law performs for Bryneven pupils

BRYANSTON - Highly-rated up-and-coming band Newton's 2nd Law performed in front of Bryneven Primary School's appreciative pupils.

The five-man act comprising vocalist John Mani, guitarist Dirk Van Schalkwyk, drummer Wihan De Lange, violinist Jaco Joubert and bass guitarist Peet Bornman was signed by Sony BMG and will be jetting off to New York City soon.

They were invited by the school to help inspire its choir and band to follow their dreams, and performed Fact of Life and Imaginary World from their debut album N2L released last year.

Grade 4 pupil Maximilian van Heerden celebrated his 10th birthday on the day and received an electric guitar as a gift from the band.
