Salsa your way to health

MORNINGSIDE - Learning to dance is a great way to get in shape, build confidence and to increase one’s self-esteem.

Salsa Estilo Cubano courses will be taking place on 14 July at the Codfather Restaurant on 1st Avenue, in Morningside.

Monica Munoz, on behalf of Salsa Estilo Cubano, explained that for years doctors have recommended dancing as a great way to stay in shape and keep a sharp mind.

“Some of the health benefits of salsa are that it helps with weight loss, blood circulation and it increases energy levels,” said Munoz.

She added that singles and couples are welcome to participate in the courses.
