Suspect arrested and two firearms recovered

BRYANSTON - Police arrested a suspect and confiscated two illegal firearms while on routine patrol.

Sandton police spokesperson Captain Kym Cloete said officers spotted two suspicious characters at the corner of Devonshire Avenue and St James Crescent in Bryanston at 8.15pm on 26 July. One of the men fled and escaped, but the other was arrested by the police officers. Two illegal firearms were recovered from the suspect.
