23K stolen and woman’s arm broken during robbery

SANDTON - Complainant injured and R23 000 worth of property was stolen in a house robbery in Paulshof.

A man has been arrested following a robbery in which R23 000 worth of property was stolen.

The complainant alleged that she was asleep in her room when she heard a strange noise which she assumed was her employer.

The woman claims her door was then forced open and two males entered her room. The men kicked her and stole a plasma TV, her handbag, bank cards, cash, cellphones and a kettle, all valued at R23 000.

She sustained a broken arm from the kicking.

The suspect was arrested the same day and detained by Sandton police.
