Recyclers leave a mess

In response to Rubbish recyclers: are they a help or hindrance, week ending 28 March:

I stay in Daisy street, Sandown.

Every time the bins are put out the recyclers come past and do there thing. They tip the bins over on the grass pavement and look for material that can be recycled. All well and good, but when they put the rubbish back they leave such a mess. I have to get my gardener to clean up after them. So it’s a two way thing, the recyclers need to also ensure they do their bit by cleaning up. I asked many times with no joy, so now we don’t allow them to take rubbish as this can be done at the dump site. Now, we don’t have any litter on our pavements any more.

Lastly, the last time we had any roads agency or Pikitup come and clean our road was about five years ago.
