Celebrating twenty years of saving lives
SANDTON - Baroque Medical celebrated 20 years of providing top quality medical products to the South African market in Sandton.

Baroque Medical was founded in 1994. The company markets, sells and distributes reputable medical products that ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Speaking at the celebratory luncheon at the company’s offices in Rivonia Road, chief executive officer, Albert Denoon looked back at the company’s success over the years and attributed it to the dedication and passion of the company’s staff who he said never lost sight of the fact that the company saved lives.
“A person who is treated with a Baroque Medical product is somebody’s son, someone’s mother, the teacher who saved a child from ignorance, a person who could change the tide of history,” said Denoon.
He spoke about the company’s vision to market, sell and distribute reputable medical products that ensure better patient outcomes. “We constantly seek products that can change lives or assist our South African specialists in treating their patients,” added Denoon. “In the future we will continue to strive to achieve our vision of being the medical partner of choice across the sub-Saharan and Indian ocean regions. We are looking forward to the opportunity to diversify into other specialities and to apply our unique marketing methods,” he said.
Mark Pilgrim, radio and television personality was the programme director for the day, and he shared the story of his own heart attack, subsequent treatment and gratitude to the doctors who had helped him survive. Funny man Joey Rasdien wowed the audience with his knowledge of medical terms. He told guests that his first wife had died of primary pulmonary hypertension and thanked the medical profession for their support and care towards both him and his wife during her illness.
