Loadshedding: Know your schedule

JOBURG - Although Eskom has announced that the power supply is stable and no load shedding is taking place, several residents are reporting that they have no electricity.

To be safe, we have compiled a list of possible load shedding schedules to keep you prepared.

City Power customers:

Block 1 (Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays 6am – 10am)

Atholl East, Birdhaven, Bramley Gardens, Bramley North, Chislehurston, Hyde Park East, Illovo East and Inanda.

Block 2 (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays 6am – 10am)

Illovo West

Block 3 (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 10am – 2pm)

Bryanston North East, Bryanston East and Bryanston North.

Block 4 (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays 10am – 2pm)

Athol West, Atholl Gardens, Athollhurst, Bramley, Morningside, Parkmore.

Block 8 (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays 6pm – 10pm)

Bryanston Manor, Bryanston South West, Hurlingham Manor, Hyde Park West, Saxonwold South.

You will have to select your province, municipality and suburb and will then see a full action plan for your particular area.

  1. I live in bryanston two days in a row we have had no lights from early parts of the morning like 1 or 2 in the morning to late afternoon. Don’t they realise ppl need to get ready for work. Have a Lil bit of empity guys
