A SILVER vehicle was swept into the Braamfontein Spruit on the morning of 4 March.

The vehicle was travelling on the low level bridge on Belgrave Road in Riverclub.

Peter Lewer, an employee who works in the area witnessed the incident. He said, “I first heard about it on the radio at 6.45am. I saw people and cars surrounding the area. There was a woman inside and they helped her get out of the car.” He added that the car was later pulled out of the spruit.
