Shave-a-thon rocks shopping centre

BENMORE - Benmore Gardens shopping centre played host to a shavathon.

The 11th Cansa Shaveathon took place across the country and participants took part to raise awareness about cancer and raise funds for those affected by it. Residents young and old gathered at the Kauai Court in the shopping centre and lined up to have their hair shaved off or sprayed with a mirage of bright colours.

Shaveathons also took place in Sandton at the following venues: Brescia House School, Bryanston shopping centre, Discovery offices, Sandton City shopping centre, St Stithians College, Wendywood shopping centre and Woodmead retail park.
