Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela, spokesperson for the Bramley Police said the man had been using someone else’s identity book in Midrand, Fourways and the Bramley areas. “He has only replaced the owner’s photo with his but the information remains the same,” explained Maphakela.
He said the owner of the identity book had already reported it missing to the police. “We are appealing to the community to help us find the identity thief. Anyone with information must report it to the Bramley Police Station,” said Maphakela.
