Face of Africa revealed

KRAMERVILLE- Nigerian model Adeola Ariyo was announced as Elizabeth Arden's new brand ambassador.

Ariyo was officially presented to guests as the new face of the brand at Katy’s Palace Bar.

Managing director of Elizabeth Arden South Africa Corne Nel said, “The decision to add a new brand ambassador comes as the brand begins its expansion into the continent.”

“It is an opportunity to really celebrate African beauty,” added Nel.

The brand is committed to the belief that to be authentically beautiful is the birthright of every woman.

“As a company we want to celebrate each woman’s unique beauty through individuality, diversity and original expressions of beauty. Ariyo has all of these qualities and as a prestige beauty brand, we wanted to choose a spokesperson women could identify with,” said Nel.

According to senior make-up artist for Elizabeth Arden Gina Myers, the event “celebrated Africa”.

“The brand and beauty go hand in hand, and represent sophistication and pride. It is also nice to know they offer darker shades for woman. Ariyo is the perfect ambassador,” said Myers.

“I am proud to be associated with a brand that embodies such important values,” said Ariyo.
