Local boys head to Rome

PARKMORE - A group of players from Sandton Park Football Club has been chosen to take part in a tournament in Rome, Italy.

The six U13 players represented the Volkswagen Constantia Football team which took part in the Volkswagen Junior Masters National Tournament at the University of Johannesburg.

The team won the tournament, earning them the right to participate in the World Junior Masters Championships, taking place in Rome in May.

Samila Sigenu, Sitabiso Madonsela, Bevan Wortley, Chenedu Nzeocha, Munachiso Ewuzie and Luca Martini are the six boys who have been afforded this once in a lifetime opportunity.
