Elephant takes a walk through Sandton
SANDTON - Motorists driving around Sandton last weekend may have been shocked to see an elephant in their rear-view mirror.
The life-size concrete elephant, the mascot of PPC cement, made the move from the entrance to Innesfree Park to its new home on the corner of Grayston Drive and Katherine Street.
The elephant will now watch over Sandton’s concrete jungle – the richest square mile in Africa.
