‘Selfish’ owner leaves dogs in car while shopping

SANDTON - A selfish lady went into store to do a huge shop leaving her magnificent Staffies in the car with the window open by approximately 30cm.

Renee Marks writes:

On 28 January at The Wedge shopping centre on Rivonia Road, a selfish lady with her daughter went into the store to do a huge shop leaving her magnificent Staffies in the car with the window open by approximately 30cm. The outside temperature at that time was 31 degrees and the car was parked in full sunlight! After about 20 minutes when the lady and her daughter returned to their car with a trolley laden with goods, she found nothing wrong with having left dogs in the car in the scorching heat for that amount of time.

People like this do not deserve to have such magnificent animals!
