Clean that book shelf out

THE Sandton library has requested donations of books for the new year.

Chairperson of Friends of Sandton Library, Keith Elliot has asked the public to clean out their book shelves and donate books to the library that they no longer read.

According to Elliot, the community organisation has been running for 10 years and is currently experiencing a book drought.

They host a grand book sale at the library once a month and proceeds go to purchase new stock, but they still need more material for their shelves.

All categories of books are accepted.
