Fiery day ahead – Heatwave hits Gauteng
JOBURG - The SA Weather Service issued an alert for extreme temperatures across Gauteng and other parts of the country on 16 January.
It is predicted that Pretoria will reach 38 deg C and Johannesburg will reach 33 deg C.
ER24 Emergency Services encourages people to stay well hydrated and not wear tight multi-layer clothing. They also suggest people postpone strenuous outdoor activities and ensure that pets have enough water to drink and a cool place to rest.
