Baboon on the loose in Sandton
SANDTON - Reports of a baboon being on the loose in Sandton have been confirmed by Sandton police.
Captain Kym Cloete, spokesperson of the Sandton police said the baboon was seen at the Woodmead Retail Park.
“The animal must be very scared. It is a very busy area with cars and taxis as well as shoppers,” said Cloete.
According to Cloete, the NSPCA was dealing with the situation to ensure the animal’s well-being and safety.
