St David’s win canoe league

Gauteng Canoe Union School League hosted the final race of the year at Florida Lake in Roodepoort.

Conditions were choppy with gusty winds and waves crashing over the canoes.

Points were allocated for each finisher on a sliding scale in each age group for boy and girl paddlers which accumulate over the year and are credited to the school represented.

St David’s Marist College won the primary school division.
