Conversations on advancement in healthcare
THE potential of innovative diagnostic tools in preventing, detecting and managing diseases came under the spotlight at Roche Diagnostics’ 10th Annual Diagnostics Forum.

The forum took place at the Gordon Institute of Business Science in Sandton.
“Our forum is an invaluable platform for empowering knowledge and mobilising action around the use of diagnostic tools for optimising patient care,” said Knut Seifert of Roche. “We have some of the world’s foremost experts on this year’s speaker panel.”
Participants from various countries attended the forum which highlighted the role of private and public collaboration for life-saving healthcare delivery to under-resourced communities in Africa and throughout the world. They were also able to engage in debates about the way forward with local and international experts.
Some of the themes covered included scientific and technological advancement in healthcare, health initiatives combating Aids and investing in healthcare training.
