Donate nappies for the disabled children

THE annual Nappy Run campaign aims to acknowledge and celebrate children with disabilities.

The campaign is currently underway and will continue until National Children’s Day on 2 November.

Nadia Rossouw of the Nappy Run project said, “The campaign is an effort to appeal to community members to donate packs of nappies and provide basic comfort to our country’s most vulnerable groups.”

On the 3 November there will be a 5km fun run at the Johannesburg Zoo. “All proceeds from the event will be used to purchase nappies for kids in care centres across the country,” added Rossouw. Donations can be made online and nappies can be dropped off at various points nationwide.
