Staff in team building fun run

More than 600 employees of Sandton-based Wipro Technologies, their families and customers took part in a team building 5km fun run at the Johannesburg Zoo.

The company’s Shailendra Singh said, “We had a handful of participants in the inaugural event and this year the number grew a little bit and we look forward to hitting the 1 000 mark next year,” he said.

“The idea really is a team building exercise between the company staffers, their families and their customers as well. We wanted to get to know each other better so we can better deal with each other on the business front,” Singh said.
