Gautrain bus stop disrupts traffic on Kelvin Drive
Stationary Gautrain buses were allegedly disrupting traffic flow on Kelvin Drive in Sandton.

Sandton resident, Surendra Naidoo said the buses parked at the bus stop were “an inconvenience and a danger” to motorists driving west on that road.
According to the media manager of Bombela Concession Company, Kelebogile Machaka, there was nothing unusual for buses to wait for 15 minutes before departure. “If the bus was obscuring traffic, it was probably a mechanical problem,” said Machaka.
“It is a potential accident zone. I have seen countless near miss accidents and irate drivers that result from the bus being parked in that spot,” said Naidoo.
“We have yet to receive any complaints about this stop and we will monitor the flow of traffic to ensure the bus is not disruptive to motorists,” said Machaka.
