Petrol attendants strike over

THE three-week strike by petrol attendants has ended, the National Union of Metalworkers of SA (Numsa) general secretary Irvin Jim said on Friday.

He told a media briefing in Kempton Park that that the union had signed an agreement for the workers to get an hourly increase of R2, resulting in a total increase of 11.6 percent.

Normal service at petrol pumps will resume on Monday 30 September.
