Kilimanjaro challenge gets underway
The Sandton SPCA Kilimanjaro Challenge team are in Tanzania and ready to summit the mountain.
Their aim is to raise funds to assist the Sandton SPCA with its animal anti-cruelty campaigns.
According to Brenton Booth, chairperson of the Sandton SPCA, the team were on their way to the starting point.
The team arrived in Tanzania without many of their bags which had gone missing in Nairobi. Sean Disney, managing director of Adventure Dynamics International, managed to retrieve their luggage.
“I have just received confirmation from Disney that they have just started and everything is going to plan,” said Booth.
