Meeting to discuss new police station

A meeting will be held at the Johannesburg Country Club to discuss the possibility of a new police station opening in Wynberg.

The meeting will take place at 6.30pm on 29 August, and residents from both the Sandton and Bramley communities are invited to attend.

Chairperson of the Sandton Community Policing Forum, Wendy Forster Robertson, said, “The Sandton Community Policing Forum strongly urges residents of the Sandton policing precinct as well as those of the Bramley policing precinct to attend the meeting, where community participation will be encouraged regarding the concept of a new police station which will directly affect residents of Buccleuch, Bramley, Kelvin, Linbro Park, as well as parts of Wendywood, Eastgate, and Kramerville. Let us, as the community, become involved and part of the solution.

“Community interaction, ideas, suggestions and feedback is critical when planning the way forward.”
