Madiba gets unstable sometimes

JOBURG - Former President Nelson Mandela's condition becomes unstable at times, the Presidency has said.

Spokesman Mac Maharaj said doctors indicate that Madiba had demonstrated great resilience and his condition was stabilising as a result of medical interventions.

“Doctors are still working hard to effect a turnaround and a further improvement in his health and to keep the former President comfortable,” said Maharaj. “President Jacob Zuma urges South Africa to continue praying for Madiba and to keep him in their thoughts at all times.”

Meanwhile, Zuma is in Malaysia on State visit and will receive a Lifetime Award for Global Peace from the Mahathir Global Peace Foundation on behalf of Madiba.
