12 people injured after taxi rolls over near Sandton

Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the N3 Eastern bypass heading towards Sandton on Tuesday morning, 17 March.

Spokesperson for Netcare 911 Shawn Herbst said paramedics arrived on the scene to find 11 occupants sustaining minor injuries, another patient sustained serious injuries.

Herbst said reports indicated the driver of the mini-bus taxi lost control resulting in a rollover.

Patients were treated on the scene and taken to various hospitals for assessment.
