A case of armed robbery was opened at Bramley Police Station over the weekend. Spokesperson Captain Molefe Mogodi from the Bramley Police Station, said that “I can only confirm that the victim was robbed of the valuable items and the Police are investigating.”
According to separate social media reports, it was alleged that the items stolen was a Rolex watch and an engagement ring. In a security video seen by the Sandton Chronicle, the incident took place at 6th road in Hyde Park on Sunday afternoon (26 January).
While waiting for their gate of the complex to open, two males came up behind them in a grey Toyota Corolla. It was alleged that they robbed the duo at gunpoint and made a quick getaway.
