The Sandton Police are calling on community members with information that will lead to the arrest of two male suspects who robbed a man of his cellphone and the remote for the gate at the Lower East Gate complex in Bryanston.
According to the Sandton Police spokesperson Captain, Granville Meyer, a case of pointing a firearm has been opened.
“It is alleged that the complainant was on his way out when two motor vehicles pulled up behind him in his driveway,” said Meyer.
“It was two SUVs and a BMW. Two males wearing balaclavas got out of the vehicle and threatened him with firearms and robbed him of his cellphone and the remote for the gate. As they entered his residence the alarm went off and they ran away.”
The police are calling on anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of these suspects to contact Crime Stop at 08600 10111 or the nearest police station.
