Wendywood voting station sees nothing but smiles

GALLO MANOR – It is a family affair as residents make their vote at Wendywood.

Happy and excited voters left the Wendywood High School IEC voting station with a sigh of relief.

On 8 May millions of South Africans filled voting stations to make their mark on how they want their country run. Elections are an important time to not only vote but reflect on what our country has achieved in 25 years of democracy and how much further our country needs to go.

Sandton Chronicle journalist, Delamo Bentley managed to capture the high spirits at this local voting station.
