Joburg mayor Herman Mashaba to release crime stats for January
JOBURG – Executive mayor of Johannesburg, Herman Mashaba to release crime statics for January.
Johannesburg mayor, Herman Mashaba together with MMC for Public Safety, Michael Sun will today release the results of the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department’s (JMPD) crime-fighting efforts for January.
According to the City of Joburg, the JMPD has been compiling monthly statistics since September last year and it has become a tool of reflection for officers as well as a way of informing residents. The City said the JMPD was working hard to increase the levels of safety within communities.
