In celebration of Women’s Month we asked Sandton residents how they celebrated Women’s Day and whether they feel it is cause for celebration?
XOLISWA NDZIMANDZE: I do think it is really important to celebrate Women’s Day because we have come a long way but there are still many challenges faced by women that need to be addressed.THAPELO PHETLHO: Women play a huge role in my life and it’s up to us to protect them and we need to be teaching young boys how to care for women.MPUMI SIBEKO: I think it’s important for me to reflect on the impact I have as a woman.
