Two suspects nabbed for theft at a mall in Sandton

SANDTON – Excellent detective work pays off when two are arrested for watch theft.

Great investigation work by Sandton detectives recently led to the arrest of two suspects for theft on 6 August.

The incident occurred in April when four suspects stole four Tag Heuer watches from a mall in Sandton.

This according to Captain Granville Meyer, spokesperson at the Sandton Police Station who said a 37-year-old man was arrested after detectives positively identified him on CCTV footage, while his 43-year-old accomplice was arrested later in the day.

“The suspects are currently in detention and will appear in court soon,” ended Meyer.
