The Sandton SPCA has a number of precious pets up for adoption this week and is urging residents to open up their homes and hearts this festive season and adopt a cat or dog.
Those wishing to a adopt an animal are advised that an adoption fee, which covers the cost of vaccinations, deworming and sterilisation of the animal, is payable.
A compulsory home inspection is also conducted before any animal can be adopted.
