Over the past week, Sandton Police Station recorded 47 arrests of criminals for various offences.
Constable David Mothapo, spokesperson for the police station said, “We have arrested 47 criminals in the past week for various offences. These included 13 arrests for possession of dagga and three arrests for fraud.”

Some of the arrests included:
- 1 for assault
- 1 for business break-in
- 2 for driving under the influence
- 1 for housebreaking
- 1 for possession of a stolen motor vehicle
- 2 for possession of stolen property
- 5 for shoplifting
- 10 for theft
- 2 for trespassing.
