Preschool celebrates Heritage Day

SANDTON – The Merry Days and Little Saints Preschool celebrated Heritage Day by making art and dressing up.

 

Pupils of Sandton-based Merry Days and Little Saints Preschool celebrated Heritage Day by dressing up in cultural attire.

Jerry Thomas, principal of the preschool said the pupils had a whole week of Heritage Day preparations and made beautiful artwork of South Africa and the country’s heritage.

“They learnt all about where we come from and also sang songs and did lots of artwork like [create artworks of] our [national] flag and [former president] Mr Mandela,” concluded Thomas.
