Ward 102 councillor, David Potter, would like to warn residents about a planned power outage in numerous areas.
“[A] planned power outage for maintenance [will occur on] 11 September at 7am until 4pm and the following areas will be affected. Blairgowrie, Bordeaux, Bryanston Ext 3, Ferndale, Fontainbleau, Malanshof, Moret, Oerder Park, Praegville, President Ridge, President Ridge Ext 6 and 7, Randpark, Ruiterhof and Windsor Glen,” said Potter.
He added that the power interruption was necessary for essential maintenance work on the area’s network, which was part of a programme to ‘constantly strive to provide better service’.
Potter stressed, “As the supply may be restored at any time, customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times.”
City Power regrets any inconvenience that may be caused by these interruptions.
