Archbishop Tutu in hospital
JOBURG – Tutu to spend between one and two weeks in hospital.

The 84-year-old veteran anti-apartheid activist, Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu has been admitted to hospital. According to a statement released by his family, Tutu admitted himself to a Cape Town hospital yesterday (24 August) for treatment of a recurring infection. He is expected to remain there for a week or two. The Archbishop underwent similar treatment last year.
“Updated information would be released to media as it came to hand,” said his daughter, Thandeka Tutu-Gxashe.
