Water interruption warning
SANDTON – Water interruptions have been planned for the coming weeks in various suburbs.
Planned interruptions have been scheduled for several suburbs:
Sandown
Streets: Pretoria Avenue between Katherine and Wierda streets
Start Date: 16 August
Time: 9am – 4pm
Restoration: 4pm – 6pm
Reason: Tie in
Impact: No water.
Sandown
Streets: Grayston Drive between Linden and Rivonia streets
Start Date: 18 August
Time: 9am – 4pm
Restoration: 4pm – 6pm
Reason: Tie in
Impact: No water.
Rivonia and surrounds
Streets: All streets
Start Date: 18 August
Time: 7am – 5pm
Restoration: 5pm – 8pm
Reason: Repairs to 600mm valve
Impact: No water
Suburbs affected: Edenburg; Woodmead; Woodmead Exts; Sunninghill; Megawatt Park; Paulshof; Rivonia; Gallo Manor and Khyber Rock.
Bryanston and surrounds
Streets: All streets
Start Date: 23 August
Time: 7am – 5pm
Restoration: 5pm – 8pm
Reason: Repairs to 450mm valve
Impact: No water
Suburbs Affected: Bryanston and Exts; Bryanston East; Bryanston West; Epsom Downs; Country Life Park; Millhill; Soleridge; Lyme Park
Customers are also reminded that level-2 water restrictions are still in place and must be adhered to. Due to the colder weather, the stipulated times that residents are not allowed to water and irrigate their gardens has changed from 6am to 6pm, to 8am until 4pm every day.
